What?
The Oxfordshire Triathlons for 2024 will consist of 2 races spread across the summer, July and August.
Races will consist of a SPRINT in June followed by an OLYMPIC distance event in August. All events feature a stunning open water swim, a scenic, fast yet challenging bike route and a flat, fast lakeside run.

When?
Why?
For a region with numerous triathlon clubs, keen individual athletes and beautiful surroundings, Oxfordshire was in need of its own open-water swim triathlon series.
Apart from the wonderful Blenheim Triathlon which happens early in the year, we felt a need to provide more racing opportunities in this region.

By offering 2 races it means that athletes can race the same course twice over of the year and measure their progression, or those with busy schedules should be able to attend perhaps 1 or 2, therefore not missing out on the fun!
All races take place on a Sunday; June 23rd and August 18th 2024.
Where?
All races take place at the fantastic Queenford Water Park, Dorchester, Oxon, OX10 7PQ.
A venue already hugely popular with triathletes from all over the South, the crystal clear water makes an ideal venue for the open water swim,
The beautiful Oxfordshire countryside provides a fantastic bike lap, with a mixture of fast flat sections and short sharp kickers!
The run takes place around the perimeter of the lake, ensuring a fast, flat, traffic free lap.
Who?
These distances have been specifically chosen by the race organiser to offer a challenge to those new to triathlon, looking to race either a sprint or olympic distance event. By offering both at the same venue, it allows athletes to progress over the year and set themselves realistic goals.

We are also keen for local clubs and teams to use these as either a standalone one off 'Club Champs' or a series of races throughout the year to crown their 'Club Champion!'

We are offering a big discount to any clubs wishing to use this as part of their club championships.
